Kate's birthday party with Dave's family (July 28th)

Kate's party was set for Saturday with some friends and family coming to celebrate with us. Well unfortunately Kate threw up after breakfast that morning and that had us put our plans on hold. We went and saw the dr that morning and she confirmed that she had a nice little gastro bug. Dave's family decided to come up anyway. Kate threw up again later in the afternoon. I felt so bad for her. The worst part of it was that all she wanted for her birthday was cake. Everytime someone asked her what she would like for her birthday, all she said was cake. Emma tried explaining to her that we were going to have cake but that she could also got presents, but Kate insisted that all she wanted was cake. Now that she had this gastro bug, she really shouldn't be having cake. Well Dave and I decided to give her a tiny bit and thankfully it stayed down.
