Emma's first day of school & my birthday (August 13th)

Today was Emma's first day of school. She was really excited about her big 4 year old class and had a lot of fun. She especially loved playing with her best friend Kyle and the game spiders and flies.

That afternoon Lola watched the girls while Dave and I escaped for my birthday. We went out to lunch, saw a movie and stayed at a local hotel for the night. We had a great dinner and got to sleep in. It was nice and relaxing.
