On Saturday I took the girls to go get their hair cut. We have this really cute kids salon in town and the girls love to go. There is one stylist in particular that the girls are very fond of. She is so sweet to them and gives them special hair styles with glitter. Apparently she made quite an impression on Kate this last time because Kate has been pretending to be her ever since. Emma got an beauty salon for Christmas last year and that is where Kate does all of her styling. She will cut your hair, comb and brush it as well as put glitter in it. If I am lucky she will even do my nails and give me lipstick. My favorite part of the beauty time is when it comes time for glitter and she wants to know what color I want...the conversation goes something like this:
Kate: What is your favorite color?
Me: Red
Kate: Uumm...what is your favorite color?
Me: Blue
Kate: How about purple?
Me: Purple sounds great.
Kate got purple glitter when she went on Saturday...so she only gives out purple glitter.
