Christmas lights

One of our Christmas traditions is driving around and looking at lights. Both Emma and Kate love to see all the lights and Christmas decorations that people put on their houses. We have some people in our town that have gone all out. There is one house that has a helicopter on the roof and one house that actually looks like a gingerbread house. The gingerbread house as we call it actually has a facade that they put on the front of the house and it looks amazing. The new twist with this house this year is that you can tune in to a radio station when you are close and they have synced the lights on the house to the Christmas music they are playing on the radio station. This is by far the girls favorite house. It seemed that most every night for a while we were loading up and were off in search of Christmas lights. One of my favorite quotes from Kate was, "Ooohhh....it is so amazing."
