Vacation

This summer we made our way down to America's Finest City (as they call it). I love going back to San Diego. I have so much fun taking Dave and the girls to all the places that I went to as a kid. This trip we were there for 9 days and we packed a lot in to those 9 days. Here is a recap of the highlights.

It wouldn't be a San Diego trip unless we made our way to LegoLand. (We actually have season passes) Luckily my old house is only 15 minutes from the park so we actually went 2 times this trip. One trip was in the afternoon with our friend Anne and her 3 kids. The kids had a great time playing in the water and in this park area.

Going to Moonlight Beach. This is the same beach that I went to as a kid. Lots of good memories at that beach. Here are some pics of the girls playing in the sand.

While in San Diego we also did something that I LOVED to do as a kid and still love to do as an adult. Go to a Padre game. If we are visiting during baseball season we always go to a game. This year we took Emma to her first major league baseball game and we all had a blast. It also helps that Tata gets us great seats. We are only a couple of rows up from the section right above the Padre dugout. Pretty cool. This trip we were pretty lucky and we got to see a day game and then went to a night game too. We had a friend (Kristin Taddey) join us for the night game that we had not seen in a while and it was fun to catch up. Here are some pics of Emma at her first Padre game.

OK...so something HUGE happened at dinner after the game. Emma had a super loose tooth and during dinner she was playing with it and tugged it a little and guess what....it came right out. Here is her first picture minus a tooth.

We also made our way to LegoLand another day to meet up with some of our friends the Benestads who were also in So Cal. Here are some pics from that day.
