Snow!

So 2 weekends ago we headed up to the Bridget and William. There was a ton of snow around the cabin and Emma was so excited. On Saturday we got all bundled up and hit the snow. We made snow angels and went sledding. Kate loved going on the sled SO much. After every run she asked to go again. After lunch on Saturday we decided to go to Ryan and Bridget's house in Reno. It was a quick race to get everything packed as it started snowing and we didn't want to get stuck. We were able to make it on the freeway and then everyone stopped moving. We figured there was an accident because we saw a couple of tow trucks and police cars. After sitting on the freeway for 45 min, we started getting nervous as we watched the snow continue to fall. Luckily we were able to start moving and we didn't need to get chains. Later that day as we listened to the weather reports on the storm that was moving in, we realized that we probably wouldn't be able to go home the next day. As it turns out the freeway was closed on Sunday afternoon so we were definitely spending another night snow to visit friends. We spent Friday night in Truckee with our friends Ryan, in Reno. On Saturday night we had some great couples versus couple Pente games. It was a fun weekend and we had blast hanging out with our friends.
